Photoshop

I by no means claim to be an expert on photoshop. However, I'm slowly learning. Here's a little thing I put together which shows the progess I made on one picture. It was really washed out because of the position of the sun, but I figured out how to edit it to make it look a lot better in my opinion anyways.

Beach Photos

Today I went to the beach with two of my good friends Ellen and Kelly and their girls. I had so much fun taking pictures of the girls. If I only could make a living off of taking pictures, I think that I would be perfectly content to do that. Anyways, here are some of the pictures that I took and did a little tweeking on in photoshop.

Something New

I read Pioneer Woman's Blog everyday. Today she posted a tutorial in photoshop. I decided to try it out. I must say that I LOVED it! Here is the original photo:

Doesn't it look like a piece of art that you would buy? I'm excited to see what else I can come up with. Maybe I will have more photos soon.

Photoshop

I downloaded some action sets from Pioneer Woman. I LOVE them! I know how to use InDesign and Illustrator but photoshop I still quite haven't grasped all the little things. I know what I want to do sometimes, but I just don't know how to do it. Anyways, I took two different photos and one I applied a Vintage Action to and the other one I applied a seventies and burnt edges look too. This is how they turned out.

PS. Can someone tell me how to insert photos where I want them instead of them going in at the top and then me moving them?

As you know, I love taking pictures. I bought a Nikon D40 back in May (when I had a job) as my birthday present to myself. I LOVE it! I will take pictures on anything. I have so many pictures of other people's kids it's unbelievable. Maybe someday I can take a photography class. Anyways, here are a few of my favorite pictures. Enjoy!

These 2 are from when I went to the Grand Canyon with my family a couple of years ago (before the nice camera). I love sunset and nature pictures. I'm not a big outdoorsy person, but I love looking at nature and just being amazed at God's creation.

This next photo is from when I was out on the boat with Jody's family. I love being on the water. I still haven't been able to get my dolphin picture yet. Maybe someday...

These 2 pictures I took when Krista had her bridal portraits. After her paid photographer was done, I took a bunch more pictures with my camera. We had lots of fun even though it was extremely hot! I think they turned out really nice.
